Events
We hold regular events for our members to further our work and vision. These events allow AIT and our members to network and form a strong bond. This also allows all to raise any issues that are of concern or benefit. Some of the events that we have held in the past are as follows:
- AGM
- Children’s competition
- Family Day Out
AGM
An annual event held for all to attend and be updated on the working of the organisation. It is also the opportunity when perhaps elections are held or a chance for all to network. The AGM is also the time when the executive propose plans for the forthcoming year. The AGM provides an opportunity to all to discuss any matters that are of concern which requires solutions, thus at the AGM, it is an apt opportunity to resolve any issues.
Childrens competition
We hold regular competitions for children to partake. This allows students to be involved in activities to enhance their confidence to face academic challenges. Children generally thrive when there are challenges, and we aim to hold regular competitions to enhance their confidence in the subjects that are taught.
Family day out
Each year we at AITUK arrange a ‘Family day out’ for all our members to visit a new location. We encourage all to come along including their families. This is an opportunity for us all to network and also enjoy a fun day out with our families. This is also an opportunity for our families to get to know other families from around the country and develop long lasting friendships. We have been holding the ‘Family day out‘ every year since its inception.
